iSAQB® EAM - Enterprise Architecture Management Training

Yes, tecnovy is an accredited iSAQB® training provider, and you receive the credit points at the end of the certification exam.

Since the corona pandemic, many training courses have been offered remotely, independent of location. Therefore, a remote test is a logical step. A remote exam for the participants is now possible for numerous IT certificates. This eliminates the need for travel for those involved.

Certificates of participation with the associated credit points can only be issued for Advanced Level training if the participant has attended at least 75 percent of the seminar. The credit points may only be awarded this completed time percentage. To receive the credit points, it is necessary to make up the complete training or the missing part. This rule also applies for reasons, not the participants' fault (e.g., traffic jams, illness, accidents, etc.).

Experience with the development or management of large and/or multiple IT systems is advantageous. Depending on the participants, this training is conducted in German or in English. Knowledge of English is advantageous because the underlying training material is in English, even if the seminar is held in German.

As a participant in the iSAQB EAM certification program, you will learn how to establish and implement Enterprise Architecture Management in your company. This includes creating architecture models, identifying business requirements, and integrating architectural principles into the IT strategy of the company.

iSAQB EAM stands for "Enterprise Architecture Management" and refers to the management of the architecture of companies and organizations. It involves creating a holistic view of the IT systems and processes within a company and ensuring that they align with the strategic goals of the company.

The iSAQB prescribes the formal and organizational separation between the training and examination providers. That's why there are these two different roles. The training provider offers training courses, courses, and workshops to prepare the participants for the CPSA-F exam or the CPSA-A thesis, among other things.

The exam providers take the CPSA-F and CPSA-A exams but are not allowed to offer their training courses or seminars in this area.

With the iSAQB, the credit points can be re-evaluated every 12 months. However, there have only been a few changes so far. If you plan further training measures over several years, you should keep this in mind. It can affect the number of points and the distribution. Issues in one of the three areas may also be lost, which means that the area then has to be covered by another training session.

This training is aimed at IT and specialist architects. The seminar is also helpful for project managers, specialists, and managers who, for example, accompany the transformation initiatives.

In the EAM module, the participants are first given an overview of the concept of enterprise architecture management and its introduction and implementation. Among other things, the focus is on structuring, testing, and optimizing the IT landscape in companies and business processes to find connections between IT and business. In addition, the IT landscape should be successfully aligned with the corporate strategy.
