iSAQB GREEN - Resource-Efficient Software Development

The iSAQB Advanced Level GREEN module teaches how to design IT systems with a focus on energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction. What are the goals of GREEN Training?

The goal of the iSAQB GREEN course is to equip participants with the knowledge to create sustainable and energy-efficient IT systems. By the end of the training, participants will understand the key drivers of energy consumption in software and know how to design architectures that minimize environmental impact. They will be capable of leading teams in implementing CO₂-saving strategies and integrating energy efficiency into everyday development processes.

Graduates of this module will:

  • Be able to design scalable, sustainable software architectures.

  • Implement measures to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Procedure of Exam & Certificate

The iSAQB GREEN module is accredited by iSAQB and contributes towards the Advanced Level certification (CPSA-A). After completing the 3-day course, participants earn 20 credit points – 10 technical and 10 methodical. A comprehensive project-based assignment follows the course, with evaluation done by iSAQB experts.
