Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Wanner is a Professor of Computer Science at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. His teaching areas include software engineering, software architecture, green IT, and enterprise architecture management. He heads the Laboratory for Distributed Information Systems and served as Director of the Information Center at the university from 2012 to 2023. Previously, he was Managing Director of plenum Systems GmbH in Wiesbaden and IBL Ingenieurbüro Letters GmbH in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. His freelance work included consulting in object-oriented systems, training in programming languages, and implementing client-server systems.
