The five days in detail
The week builds on itself: first the foundation of lean and agile, then the methods for a single team, then scaling to several teams and to the portfolio. The PI planning day in the middle is the practical high point, and the closing part belongs to your own company.

Frequently asked questions
01Is there an examination at the end?
No. The tecnovy Agile Fast Track training holds no examination, written or oral. Your attendance is what counts: after the course you receive the tecnovy certificate of participation.
02Am I SAFe® certified afterwards?
No. The tecnovy Agile Fast Track teaches the fundamentals of SAFe® and has you play through a PI planning, but it is not an accredited SAFe® course and leads to no SAFe® certification. The accredited courses sit on tecnovy’s SAFe® board.
03Do I need prior knowledge of agile methods?
No. The tecnovy Agile Fast Track is built for newcomers and starts with the question of what agility even is. The one thing that helps is having worked on projects or on a product before.
04Does the course replace a Scrum Master or Product Owner certification?
No. In the tecnovy Agile Fast Track you get to know both roles and practise them in a Scrum simulation, but the course ends with a certificate of participation rather than a role certification.
05What happens on the PI planning day?
A full day of the tecnovy Agile Fast Track is a role play: as an Agile Release Train you plan an entire Planning Interval (PI) from a case study, with the dependencies, risks and conflicts you have to resolve in the room.
06What materials do I take away?
You receive the training materials plus a photo record of every flipchart from the tecnovy Agile Fast Track, including your Kanban board, the framework comparisons and the output of the PI planning.
07What do I take back to my own company?
The last part of the tecnovy Agile Fast Track is transfer work: you record where your company stands today, which practices will bite first, and the order in which you introduce them.
