This part separates who owns what, before anyone touches a backlog.

• Where the Product Owner and the Product Manager sit in an Agile Release Train
• The Lean-Agile mindset as it applies to both roles
• Value streams, and working with Lean Portfolio Management
• The basics and the limits of AI tools in the product roles

The part where the work that gets distributed in the planning is created.

• Exploring customer needs continuously and turning them into features
• Ordering the backlog by economic value with WSJF
• Cutting features so a team can finish them inside one PI
• Sharpening the vision and the roadmap for the coming period

Two days in which a whole train commits to shared objectives.

• Presenting your vision in front of every team
• Surfacing dependencies and risks instead of deferring them
• Negotiating PI objectives and assigning business value

The longest part of the course: here the work shifts from planning to shaping things day by day.

• Writing stories and acceptance criteria that hold without follow-up questions
• Managing flow on the team Kanban and preparing the backlog in refinement
• Accepting results and gathering feedback in the review
• Using AI tools sensibly when drafting and refining stories

The closing part covers what actually happens to the output of a PI.

• Showing the increment in the system demo and having it assessed
• Turning the inspect and adapt session into concrete measures
• Writing your own action plan for the first weeks after the course
