01Do AI images and AI videos in advertising have to be labelled?
Under the EU AI Act, yes, if they are a deep fake: AI-generated or manipulated image, audio or video content that resembles existing persons, objects, places, entities or events and would falsely appear authentic. Under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the organisation using the AI has had to disclose this since 2 August 2026 (as of November 2026); for evidently artistic, creative, satirical or fictional work, a disclosure that does not hamper the display is enough. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you check campaign visuals against these conditions; it is not legal advice.
02Do I have to label advertising copy that an AI wrote?
Under the EU AI Act only if the text is published to inform the public on matters of public interest (Article 50(4), as of November 2026). Even then the duty falls away if the text has undergone human review or editorial control and a person or organisation holds editorial responsibility for its publication; other transparency duties under EU or national law are unaffected. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you sort your own types of copy against these conditions.
03Who owns the text and images an AI produces for our marketing?
There is no blanket answer: German copyright law protects a work only if it is a personal intellectual creation (Section 2(2) of the German Copyright Act, UrhG), and what you may do with an AI result is also governed by the tool's terms of use. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you work through these questions on examples and note which ones belong with your legal team, where the assessment of each case stays.
04How does AI content sound like our brand rather than like AI?
By giving the AI your brand's tone, word choices and sample texts as a fixed brief, and reading every draft against it before sign-off. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you write such a brief for the sample campaign and use it to produce variants for different channels.
05What if the AI claims something about our product that is not true?
Then the text must not go out as it is, which is why a person checks every factual claim against a reliable source before publication. Language models, the AI behind text assistants, often state false details as convincingly as true ones. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you decide who in your team checks and signs off what.
06Does AI-generated content hurt Google rankings?
Not because an AI wrote it: Google says it rewards the quality of content, not how it was produced. As of November 2026, however, Google treats using generative AI to produce many pages without value for users as spam. In the tecnovy AI for Marketing training you use AI for keyword research and for revising existing content.
07Can I take AI for Marketing with no AI experience?
Yes, the tecnovy AI for Marketing training has no admission requirements and assumes neither technical knowledge nor experience with AI tools. The exercises start from tasks you know from everyday marketing work: personas, channel copy, keywords and reports.
