AI Project Management AI Manager Certification (ISO/IEC 17024)

In this 4-day training you learn how to integrate AI technologies safely and lawfully into your company culture. The focus is on hands-on practice, strategic thinking, and regulatory awareness. You work with real business scenarios, design your own AI project ideas, and learn how to act as the certified point of contact who takes technical, legal, and organizational responsibility for AI initiatives.

As a bonus, you can take the ISO/IEC 17024 certification exam for AI Manager after the course.

After completing the training, you will be able to:

• Select appropriate technologies, tools, and architectures for specific use cases

• Apply methods like CRISP-DM, FAB-4, or Design Sprints in real-world settings

• Engage and align stakeholders and act as an internal AI contact person

• Prepare confidently for the Certified AI Manager exam (ISO/IEC 17024)

After completing the 4-day training, you receive a certificate of attendance. This certificate gives you access to the certification exam for “Certified AI Manager” under ISO/IEC 17024.

The exam is conducted by Austrian Standards and includes:

• Project presentation: 20 minutes
• Oral subject exam: 20 minutes
• Permitted aids: notes, specialist literature, internet
• Not permitted: AI tools

You can schedule the exam flexibly. We recommend a period of at least three weeks after the end of the course, so you can deepen what you have learned.

After passing the exam, you receive the official certificate under ISO/IEC 17024. It is recognized proof of your professional competence in AI management and is valid for 3 years.

Certificate as Proof of Competence under the EU AI Act

The AI Manager certificate can be used officially to assess your AI competence under Article 4 of the EU AI Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. This gives you clear added value in practice.

Recertification

After the 3-year validity period, you can apply for recertification through Austrian Standards. The requirements are proof of relevant further training of at least 24 hours and a description of your professional activities.
