CompTIA A+ (Plus) Core 1 & 2

CompTIA A+ is the industry-standard certification for launching a career in IT support and technical services. Recognized globally, it validates your hands-on skills across key areas such as hardware, software, networking, and security.

At Tecnovy, our intensive 5-day training program prepares you thoroughly for the 220-1101 (Core 1) and 220-1102 (Core 2) exams. You’ll learn how to install and configure devices, manage operating systems, set up networks, apply security practices, and troubleshoot technical issues.

To earn the CompTIA A+ certification, you must pass two separate exams:

• 220-1101 (Core 1): Mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization, and cloud computing

• 220-1102 (Core 2): Operating systems, security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures

Exam Details:

• Questions: Up to 90 per exam

• Question types: Multiple choice, drag-and-drop, and performance-based

• Duration: 90 minutes per exam

• Passing score:

  • 220-1101 (Core 1): 675 out of 900

  • 220-1102 (Core 2): 700 out of 900

• Languages available: English at launch; German, Spanish, French, and others later

• Testing provider: Pearson VUE (online or on-site)

• Price: €310 for both exams (Core 1 &2) excluding VAT

Regardless of exam results, you’ll receive an official Tecnovy participation certificate, available immediately via your e-learning dashboard.

What’s next after A+?
Once certified, you can pursue intermediate-level CompTIA certifications such as Network+ or Security+, or go further into cybersecurity (CySA+) and penetration testing (PenTest+).
